  11. You know none of those comments sound like they think of this as a tragic example at all. Rather a cute example of the type of pet they will be running out to buy.

Hmmm helping or hindering? Interesting conversation piece none the less and a super cute awesome picture :)

  12. I can only imagine how tough it would be to lose a child! I've watched my parents lose their oldest 2 years ago & have watched my cousin lose 3 of her children. This past year I watched a friend lose their son. I know that knowing that my oldest brother David is in heaven & knowing that he's better off now then all of us, & that they'll see him again someday has given my parents & all of us the hope, faith, comfort & patience we need while we wait on God's timing to re-unite us. We have the faith that God knows best & that He's taking care of David in heaven, just like He's taking care of us down on earth. When you know the Lord, you have a real hope & can have the peace that passes all understanding! It's far beyond what the world can comprehend, but it's also a hope centered far beyond this temporary world. It sounds like you know that hope too! I'm praying for you guys right now! God bless you always!
    In His Love & Grace,
    Kathy

  13. To "helping or hindering?" --- ummmm, its a joke..."in-BREAD" dog, get it? In the Bread, the roll is bread, like a hot dog on a Bread roll?

  17. There should be NO Ads on my blog... I don't make any money from my blog or my facebook account... This is just something I did personally... & Yeah I think it's gonna go viral... Too bad I don't get a penny or a nickle for each Like! That would be nice... LOL
Kathy, I also have to say... Thinking of my son in a "Better Place" would be thinking of him in my arms, getting a Great Big Bear Hug from him... My son was only 18 years, 7 months, & 24 days old and well, Although I feel VERY BLESSED to have had him as long as I did, I really would prefer him to be here on this Earth with the rest of the family, especially so he could be at his Big Brother's Wedding... 10-23-2011

I saw a tiny miniature dachshund an hour ago in the street, a pretty rare thing to see (though there are many normal sized ones around here), and then saw this on Facebook just now so it must be an omen telling me to share it. So cute! Funny how some people here and on FB didn't spot the pun, "in-bread" LOL, that's rather more original than the many similar pics I've seen by others labelled a hot dog.

  20. I love these dogs. They are the sweetest, most loveable breed. This pic is the cutest I have ever seen. Would love to have one just like him/her. Thanks for sharing it.

On another note, I too lost a child. she was almost 5 months old when she died during emergency open heart surgery. I know people mean well when they give you their condolences but I also know that all the kind words in the world does not fill the emptiness you feel from losing a child. Would like to tell you it gets easier but it doesn't. Maybe they are in a better place but, like you, I feel the best place was here, with me, growing into adulthood and being happy with family and friends. God Bless.

  21. soo i dont get it why would you WANT to spay and nuter to STOP makeing something so cute as the cute little hot dog?

  22. Thank you all for your blessings, prayers, kind words, & Funny words to this cute & funny photo... Which by the way, I found several places all over the internet, but none of which said they owned the photo or made any reference to it as if it could've been theirs... I wish I knew who REALLY OWNS the dog & image...

  23. Suzy Q says; The official breeds of Dachshunds are Minis and Standards. Teacup doxies are not recognized because they have too many physical defects. I was advised by my vet not to buy one because they have a short life span. I have a small, red, smooth, samll standard. She is the perfect combination of a wonderful personality and a playful, child-loving dog, I have friends who have minis, and most of them tend to be hyper.

  38. Spay, neuter and avoid puppy mills. We rescuced our doxie through mwdr.org a great rescue in Illinois. My baby Lucy was rescued from an Amish Puppy Mill Farm in Wisconsin. By the age of 2 she had 3 c-sections. Now she lives with us and has a Happy Life as the baby girl with her big sisters, 2 English Pointers and a Weim :o)

  51. Such a cute picture. We have been planning to get a dog, and I have the rescue center looking for a small doxie for us. We have 2 friends with a doxie and they are very good dogs. We need a small dog...just not as small as in the photo! LOL

    Great pic!

  53. This is a nice photo of a pup but; it seems for us and for most of my dog wary country men, the dog seems to not fit in a sandwich. As per my knowledge, they fit better to an "Adobo".

  54. What an adorable picture! I have a mini dachshund who is sweet as she can be. She is almost 8 years old and we just found out she has Lymphoma cancer so we put her on predisone to prolong her life a little bit. For now she is doing OK. So funny to see this picture because this year Lisl is going to my office dressed up as a "hot dog in a bun" for our Halloween Costume Contest. Thanks for sharing the photo.

  57. A friend sent this link moments ago...curious...so I stopped what I was doing to check. Although yes it is cute, WHY are so many taking time to post comments?? And yes I do see the irony that essentially I too am also taking time to post a comment..BUT I'm not commenting on the pic..I'm making an observation of why so many are spending precious time out of their lives to write about an unknown person's unknown pup. But then I also don't get 99% of twitter...I don't care if some unknown person eats a bagel at 10 p.m. tonight or any other such trivial nonsense! Is your life so empty, do you not have any friends, and/or are you unable to fill your time and entertain yourself for even a few hours? Do you have to go online and seek out stranger's blog and post comments in order to feel connected? If the answer is yes...then I am so sorry for you. It is so very sad...
    But...good luck.

  65. I thought you'd like to know that this has gone all the way from Boston to Alaska and then back east to Philadelphia. That poor pooch must be really tired.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Yeah, it sure has gone a long way - around the world a few times! However, I think FaceBook took the photo off my FaceBook Page... It no longer shows up for me or my family... I did get a few private messages from people saying they didn't like the photo & asked me to remove it... I, In turn, Blocked those people from viewing anything! Maybe that did it, I don't know... I wish FaceBook would've sent me a notice saying as such! Oh Well... Good Night All...

  67. I had to take a second look at the photo. It scared me at first. You've got a catchy photo there. Scary but it will surely get the attention and the message you need to send out.

And to the person who commented that this was her boyfriend's couch - this is what Social media is all about - NO CONTROL once it's on the net. Just be glad that this is the only picture from your boyfriend's couch that's gone viral :-)
